March 2020 Editor’s Note

As we get set to send this issue to the printer, the sun is shining and we are wondering when the rainy season will be back. Should it begin again check out the Rainy Days list in the Kids on the Tablelands section for ideas to keep the family from getting stir-crazy. Great for kids of all ages and adults too!
This issue sees the start of another new section, The Dirt. This section will feature articles from the agricultural sector about our local produce, gardening ideas, animal husbandry and more. We are looking for submissions of content to this section; contact us by email with your great ideas!
Another first for this issue is an article from Wayne Derksen in the Trails & Destinations section. Wayne is a keen explorer of nature and will be sharing some articles throughout the year. We hope the articles in this section will continue to inspire you to explore new areas of the beautiful Tablelands. We are also open to suggestions in this section so if you have a great spot that is worth sharing, please email us.
In the spirit of our celebration of the 20th anniversary of What’s On, we have a special story in the Tales of the Tablelands section of Katje Gibson, long time owner of this iconic magazine. Happy reading and of course…
Enjoy What’s On!
