What’s On has turned 20! An amazing milestone for us all. Like most 20 year olds, What’s On is still discovering, shifting and evolving as we step out into the big wide world (or our little piece of it). This year will be exciting as we roll out new sections of the magazine. The first of which is Kids on the Tablelands (see page 7). We also have some new writers getting involved this year and more from the awesome writers we’ve had in the past.
Although we are a local magazine, our hearts go out to all of the people, animals and habitats that have been affected by the bushfires that are ravaging the nation. We can only hope that perhaps if we all work together great things can emerge from the ashes and better choices can be made for the future. 20% of the profit from this issue will be donated to the bushfires. If you haven’t already got involved in someway ABC has some great suggestions, you can donate money, supplies or even just share some good news stories with friends about what is created in the midst of destruction. As this issue goes to print we are praising the rain and hoping that these fires will receive some of the downpours we’ve been getting here as well.
We hope you enjoy this issue of What’s On,
The Harens
