Yungaburra Community Christmas Carols

The Yungaburra Christmas Carols Event will again be held this year, commencing with a free Sausage Sizzle at 6.00 pm on Saturday 10th December, followed by the Carols, starting at 7pm. The event will be held under the stars at the new Yungaburra Rotunda and will appeal to all age groups.
Pastor Jeff Lawson of Lakeside Community Church Yungaburra said that traditional Christmas Carols will be presented celebrating the real reason for Christmas. Those attending will be invited to sing along with local musicians and singers, “joining in with the words displayed on two large screens”. The local primary school students will also be performing a song for the community.
Jeff said that this is a “family friendly event, and if you are considering coming, to bring your own chair or rug. Parking will be available in the park, entry via Elm Street.”
Jeff added that “anyone is welcome to attend, from the young, to the elderly. Whether you are a resident of the Atherton Tablelands, or just visiting, you are welcome to come along and share a special time with our community”.
