Calling all Advanced Open Water Divers and Adventure Divers! Brace yourself for the most fulfilling and fun course you’ll ever take. Not only will you boost your self-confidence in handling diving challenges, but you’ll also learn crucial life-saving skills to respond to dive-related incidents, both for yourself and fellow divers.

Prepare to become a dive superhero, administering oxygen and providing first aid in case of emergencies.

Duration:
Dive into an exhilarating 8-12 hour eLearning journey, mastering scuba theory at your own pace. Then, get hands-on during 2-3 days of action-packed, in-person training with our expert instructors.

Course Composition:
To kickstart your first aid training, you’ll need one day of classroom learning, unless you already hold a current certificate with up-to-date CPR. First Aid courses are at an extra cost.

Then, get ready for two action-packed days of in-water training, honing your rescue skills and mastering emergency scenarios. Learn how to create an emergency assistance plan and effectively fill out an incident report, making you a true dive safety champion.

What to expect:
Section 1 – PADI eLearning:
Dive into the theory side of your course at your own pace, right from the comfort of your home or wherever suits you best.

Section 2 – With Your Instructor:
Prepare for an immersive experience as you review your knowledge and practice rescue skills in a relaxed and safe environment. You’ll start your training in a pool setting on day 1, following open water assessment performed at either the Crater Lakes National Park (Lake Barrine or Lake Eacham) for a current-free and gentle lake setting, surrounded by rainforest, or on the captivating Fitzroy Island, diving the stunning reefs of Far North Queensland.

Destinations:
Crater Lakes:
Dive into a safe environment with no currents or waves, perfect for skill-building in Crater Lakes National Park.

What we include:
We’ve got you covered from start to finish with pick-up and drop-off from anywhere in Cairns, all the SCUBA and snorkel gear you need, engaging online learning and an exam, immersive face-to-face knowledge review and Q&A with your instructor, in-water practice to finesse your skills, and, of course, your well-deserved certification!
