ABOUT
At the heart of the Atherton Tablelands Chamber Music Festival is a three day intensive of open class masterclass sessions, workshops and the chance to make new friends. Open to all ages; most encouraged to apply are those who have been taking their instrument seriously for a few years or more.
MASTERCLASS:
Tuition with our tutors in a low stress, welcoming and friendly environment. Be either an active participant or observer.
WORKSHOPS:
• Workshop #1 Beyond the score; interpretation and sustainability as a performing artist
• Workshop #2 information on furthering skills in Australia, the structure of music degrees offered at various conservatoriums around the world. What is beyond the music degree and a chance to share experiences. Support to prepare for auditions; hear from our experienced artists and their advice drawing on past experiences in Australia and overseas.
MORNING AND AFTERNOON TEA
Is provided to encourage the developing of new friendships and networking
