Calendar Girls by Tim Firth, directed by Gill Harrington is a play from a well known film based on a real event.
When Annie’s (Gill Birch) husband is diagnosed with leukemia the Women’s Institution decide to raise funds for the local hospital by creating a ‘nude’ calendar.
The creation of the calendar & it’s success tests their beliefs, the friendships and goes beyound all expectations.
