Get ready for an unforgettable event! We’re thrilled to announce that the Cairns Brass No.1 Band, Youth Band, and Junior Band will grace the stage at the Yungaburra Community Rotunda. Each of these talented bands will perform a captivating selection of pieces inspired by various themes, promising to dazzle our senses during this lively performance!

The Cairns Brass Junior Band will kick off the concert, featuring a delightful array of performances by our youngest members. Following their act, the Youth Band—currently the open D-grade state champions—will grace the stage. Comprising some of the most talented teenage brass players from the Cairns region, they’ll captivate the audience with an exciting selection of entertainment pieces. Next up, Cairns Brass No.1 band will take center stage. As a national competing B-grade ensemble, they’ll treat the crowd to a medley of film and TV themes, spirited marches, and popular tunes. And to close the afternoon on a high note, the massed band will unleash bold and brassy sounds! Don’t miss this musical extravaganza!”

Family-friendly free event (Donations gratefully accepted which go directly to the band). All are welcome to attend.

Bring along a chair, blanket, or rug, and reserve your piece of front-row lawn!  Refreshments are available.
