Editor’s Note February 2021

The new year has arrived and we are all happy to put 2020 behind us, although it’s hard to know what is in store for 2021. During these uncertain times it is important to focus on what we can control – primarily our health. This issue has a health & well-being focus as we would love to encourage everyone to thrive through these difficult times. Check out the listings in the Sport & Recreation guide on p16 and the Regular Events guide on p19. The Tablelands is thriving and there really is something for everyone to get involved in.
A big thank you to Sweet Capture Photography and model Freya Riordan for the beautiful front and back cover photos. Read Freya’s article about the benefits of kids yoga on p9. Speaking of kids, Katie from at the art garage offers some great at home art activities on p8 for those rainy days (or weeks). For the adults interested in learning something new this year, consider joining U3A which gives you access to a wide range of learning and social opportunities (see article on p6).
As 2021 unfolds we would love for you – the reader – to get involved with What’s On. We accept submissions of articles, suggestions, Tales of the Tablelands interviewees and clubs that you would like to see profiled. We hope you enjoy this issue of What’s On.
